Your captain and crew will weave together the natural, economic and maritime history with the ecological significance of one of New England's most beautiful and scenic coastal jewels!

Explore the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge and Plum Island aboard the 30 passenger "Joppa Flats." This trip is approximately 2-1/2 hours. Reservations are required.

Weekday Picnic Lunch

Tired of crowds and lines at lunchtime? Then join us on board, and enjoy the light music, the sights, and the delicious picnic lunch we provide as we slowly cruise the Merrimack River! Space is very limited, so make your reservations by 9 a.m. by calling (603) 682-2293.

Sunset Harbor Cruise

The captain will show you the highlights of the Merrimac River, but there's no formal narration on this 90 minute sunset cruise, just light music, beautiful scenery, and free hors d'oeuvres!

Family Ecology Cruise with Mass. Audubon

Join Teacher-Naturalist Lisa Hutchings and the crew of the Yankee Clipper for an exciting exploration of the lower Merrimack River ecosystem. We'll conduct hands-on science as we collect water samples, live specimens, and plankton. We'll also look for wading birds, seals, and waterfowl on every trip.

Private Charters
Either of our boats are available for private charters of any duration. We host a wide variety of events, including birthday and anniversary parties, corporate outings, meetings, and recruiting events, wedding rehearsal dinners, birdwatching trips, and even ashes at sea!
Boat Camp
Boat Camp's marine and environmental education programs are the heart of what Boat Camp Inc. is all about. We celebrate the sea and hope to inspire sound stewardship of the ocean to enhance the quality life in the greater Newburyport community
