We now operate cruises from two locations!
Newburyport and Haverhill.
We operate from the Newburyport Town Dock, located on the Merrimack River behind Market Landing, using our 45-passenger boat, the Yankee Clipper.
We also operate from the Haverhill Municipal Dock, located on the Merrimack River behind 100 Washington St Haverhill, using our new 30-passenger catamaran style boat, the Rachel Carson.
Our season this year will run into October.

Important Updates
Newburyport Construction: The City of Newburyport has begun a construction project along the Newburport waterfront. The construction will take place Mondays through Thursdays 7am to 5pm, and will continue into 2024. During the construction, some of the waterfront parking lots will not be available. One option is to park at the Route 1 Commuter Rail Station and take the MeVA bus to the waterfront. It departs twice each hour, and is less than 1 mile from the waterfront. Both the parking and the bus are free.
Haverhill 2-for-1 Tickets: During the month of August, we are offering 2-for-1- tickets on the Haverhill boat. Buy 1 adult ticket get another free. Buy 1 child ticket get another free.

Newburyport Harbor
Duration 90 minutes. Sit back and take in the beautiful sights and sounds of Newburyport Harbor and the Merrimack River with a cold beer or glass of wine. The captain will show you the highlights of the river, but there's no formal narration on this cruise. Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, departing at 6:45 pm - returning 8:15 pm. Narrated Scenic Harbor Tours
Newburyport Harbor
Duration 1 hour. Our Narrated Scenic Harbor Tours depart 7 days a week, at 11:00 am, 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm. Experience the sights, sounds and feel of beautiful Newburyport Harbor, the Great Salt Marsh, and the Merrimack River. Our crew weaves together the area's maritime, economic and natural history, from the end of the last Ice Age 15,000 years ago to the most modern elements of life today, in one of America's most storied harbors. You'll learn what makes the salt marsh one of the most productive and biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. Common wildlife sightings on this trip include osprey, eagles, hawks, herons, egrets, diving cormorants, harbor seals and deer! Tickets $23 for adults and $12 for children.
Clipper Heritage Trail’s "Along the Water’s Edge" Waterfront Harbor Tour

Duration 90 minutes. Join local historian Ghlee Woodworth and marine ecologist Captain Paul Aziz aboard the Yankee Clipper and enjoy a 90 minute cruise along the beautiful Merrimack River. Step back in time and hear about shipyards, Caldwell’s Rum, and a castle as we cruise upriver to Amesbury. On the return leg, the Yankee Clipper takes us along the shores of Joppa, home of clammers, fishermen, and hunters, as we discover the timeless significance of our local estuary. Schedule to be determined.
Parker River National Wildlife Refuge Tour

Duration 2.5 hours. Pristine beauty, wide open space, gorgeous views, and the chance to float up and down the peaceful, winding creeks of the world's second most productive ecosystem. Learn how Plum Island and the Great Marsh were formed and how important they are. Trips scheduled periodically during the season. Schedule to be determined.

Beautiful views of undeveloped sections of the Merrimack River, with bald eagles and other wildlife. Adults $25. Kids under 12 years old $12.
2 Hour Sunset Merrimac River Tour
