Explore the largest contiguous salt marsh north of Chesapeake Bay with a full complement of scientific equipment. Recount the natural history of the marsh, from the Wisconsin Glaciaton of 15,000 years ago to present day. Analyze, compare, and contrast the fresher water upriver with the saltier water where it meets the open Atlantic Ocean.
