Newburyport Harbor Tours

You'll meet the resident wildlife of the area, including harbor seals, hawks, great blue herons, egrets, diving cormorants, and maybe even deer and bald eagles! Your captain and crew will weave together the natural, economic and maritime history with the ecological significance of one of New England's most beautiful and scenic coastal jewels!

Explore the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge and Plum Island aboard the 30 passenger "Joppa Flats." This trip is approximately 2-1/2 hours. Reservations are required.

Tired of crowds and lines at lunchtime? Then join us on board, and enjoy the light music, the sights, and the delicious picnic lunch we provide as we slowly cruise the Merrimack River! Space is very limited, so make your reservations by 9 a.m. by calling (603) 682-2293. Weekdays from 12:15pm to 1:00pm

The captain will show you the highlights of the Merrimac River, but there's no formal narration on this 90 minute sunset cruise, just light music, beautiful scenery, and free hors d'oeuvres!

Join Teacher-Naturalist Lisa Hutchings and the crew of the Yankee Clipper for an exciting exploration of the lower Merrimack River ecosystem. We'll conduct hands-on science as we collect water samples, live specimens, and plankton. We'll also look for wading birds, seals, and waterfowl on every trip.
